This Privacy Policy explains how the Hate Meter Chrome Extension (“Extension”, “we”, “our”, “us”) handles information when you use the Extension. By installing or using Hate Meter, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
We do not operate any servers that receive your browsing data.
All analysis of potentially harmful or abusive language is processed entirely within your browser. Text content visible on webpages is scanned only in real time for detection purposes. None of this information is transmitted outside of your device.
You may add or remove keywords to adjust detection sensitivity. These settings are stored only in your browser storage and are never shared with us.
You may delete or reset all locally stored data at any time by removing the Extension from your browser.
Hate Meter may analyze content from third-party platforms (e.g., social media websites). We do not control or access:
Your use of third-party websites is governed by their own policies.
Hate Meter does not target or knowingly collect data from children under 13. Because we do not collect any data at all, we cannot identify age.
Because data is fully local, users are responsible for protecting their own devices from unauthorized access.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Any changes will include a new effective date. Continued use of the Extension indicates acceptance.
